Ford Focus ST priced at $24,495

The Ford Focus ST will cost $24,495 when it arrives late this year including $795 in destination fees, if the spec sheet over at FordSTNation.com is to be believed. And we do, because that price is confirmed on Ford's consumer site. The Focus ST will come with Ford's EcoBoost 2.0-liter engine that will deliver 252 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels.

Astra GTC Concept Paris Vauxhall sneaked us a peek at the 2012 Vauxhall Astra VXR a couple of weeks ago – slightly titivated and called the Astra GTC Concept admittedly – but the 2012 Vauxhall Astra VXR none the less. And we ran the story, even though there was precious little to say beyond they’d turned the ‘blades’ round on the doors to make it look more butch and that it’d turn up when the 3 door Astra does in a years time. Countach Sets Record Auction Price

A 1982 Lamborghini Countach was the highlight at a recent historics auction at the famous Brooklands Museum. The Countach was clearly the sale star, soaring to nearly three times its reserve price and settling at what is believed to be a UK auction record for this model, at £337,120 including commission and tax. The auction hall was treated to a struggle between bidders for ownership of the 8,500 mile car, which has been in professional storage for the last 23 years.
